Tired

I’m so tired. Always tired. why dont I ever have time to do the things I love.  I don’t want to grow up. Too much work. I’m too tired to grow up. I just want a good night’s sleep for once in my life. At least I have music. Fuck. I have to get my license and pay for everything that comes with that. Which means that I have to get a job. How do you work and go to school and still have time for singing or painting? Is it really worth it in the end? Will I enjoy life again at some point?  At least I have love. I guess that’s all I need. Haven’t lost that yet. I’m just so tired.

Jelly Bread

Jelly Bread is a somewhat local artist who has been drawing for pretty much his entire life. He is 13 years old and mainly does pencil and digital art. In my opinion he could easily be a comic book illustrator.

I enjoy the simplicity of his art. You can tell he really put effort into it, but it’s not cluttered and unbalanced. I am very impressed by how advanced his art is especially for his age.

You can see more of his art here : https://seansjellybread.tumblr.com/tagged/my%20art

Henry Fuseli

Henry Fuseli was a swiss painter who lived from 1741 to 1825. He live in britain most of his life and favored painting supernatural subject matter. He painted over 200 pieces of art but only displayed a few of them. Some of his most famous works are The Nightmare  and Silence. He also painted for John Boydell’s Shakespeare Gallery.

I love this art because it really speaks to me. The Nightmare(top left) caught my eye right away, I have often had nightmares and woke with the feeling of something standing over me or sitting on me. Silence(bottom) is my favorite, the emotion that is portrayed in this painting for me is almost indescribable, yet it’s something I feel almost every day. It is interesting how art from the 17 and 18,00s is still valid and relatable today.
